Down the Years" that he realised that there was a large
interest in films which showed farming in days gone by. Having
a background in Irish farming subjects such as corn farming,
potato farmingcutting turf and growing flax
was all part of Irish life in 20th century Ireland helped in
the making of all these productions. While the ways of Ireland's past have
changed drastically over the last 100 years these DVDs Preserve the
Past for future generations. Common rural life
is showing with in the DVDs activities such as thatching a house
with hay, cutting turf at the moss and the ways of life
in rural Ireland are covered in this library of Irish DVDs.
